The 24th Annual Stockings with Care Gift Drive and Santa's Workshop is today and tomorrow
December 10 and 11, 2015.
Santas drop off gifts at 121 West 46th Street. Look for the elves in the loading dock.
Volunteers enter at 114 West 47th Street, receive a pass and head to the 19th Floor.
How It Works:
Stockings with Care Santas receive a wish list for a New York City child whose family either lives in a homeless shelter or is in danger of being homeless. With limited resources, these families face challenges to provide for their children's Christmas gifts. Santas fulfill one, two or all three wishes for the child, wrap the gifts, then drop them off at the Santa's Workshop where Stockings with Care elves organize the gifts and prepare them for delivery. The gifts are then delivered to the parents or guardians who present the gifts to the children, preserving their dignity while ensuring the gifts received are the very ones the child wished for. Stockings with Care provides gifts for minors ranging from newborns through high schoolers and works with six partner agencies accredited by the NYC Department of Homeless Services.

STOCKINGS WITH CARE
Stockings with Care helps New York City families in homeless shelters and assistance programs create the magic of Christmas morning for their kids. A 501c(3) not-for-profit organization run by volunteers, Stockings with Care drives have benefitted over 40,000 children since 1992.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and Santas like you, Stockings with Care fulfilled the wish lists of 1,500 children last year in a manner which empowers children, honors their individuality and preserves the dignity of parents.
Stockings with Care is run by volunteers and all proceeds go towards providing gifts.
